Learn the basics of calligraphy on surfaces other than paper! A crafty, fun and creative afternoon. In this 4 hour Christmas workshop, we will make a chalkboard sign and 2 acrylic reusable gift tags for your Christmas gifts.
A very small and beginner friendly class in a relaxed environment with step by step instructions. Let me show you how to prep and letter on a range of different surfaces with all my favourite (tried and true) supplies.
We start the workshop with basic lettering practice in both upper/lowercase letters, how to achieve a calligraphy look on different surfaces, before making your very own A3 size chalkboard and acrylic gift tags. You will get one on one support as well as learn all the tips and tricks to creating more signage and decor for your home, gifts or a future event.
Each student will take home a set of pens and pencils, an A3 hanging chalkboard, 2 acrylic reusable gift tags and our exclusive lettering worksheet guide.
Please note:
Workshop experience level is aimed towards adults, so you must be at least 14 years old to attend. There will be alcohol served at this event, so minors will need to be accompanied by their guardian or parent.
Refunds/Transfers
Unfortunately, there are no refunds if you are unable to make it, but you may gift it and transfer the workshop to a friend. If you would like to transfer the workshop, you must contact us the day before the workshop via email to allow us time to prep materials.
Cancellations
Workshops may be cancelled if the minimum numbers are not met and students will be notified at least 48 hours before. Students will receive a full refund if the class is cancelled.
Lastly, we kindly ask that you do not attend the workshop if you are unwell or have flu-like symptoms for the safety of our attendees.
