TERMS + CONDITIONS
All beautiful custom signage is handmade, hand lettered and finished and our wood products have different grains, knots and absorbs stain differently. All of our custom products are individual and unique, you won’t find two pieces the same. As a result the product may be slightly different to the images we have on our website.
All lettering and illustration is drawn and/or painted by hand, we do not use stencils so there may be slight imperfections and differences between each piece. Our art prints are printed from hand illustrated originals.
These individual differences are what makes your piece completely unique.
CUSTOMISATIONS ON ORDERS
Many of our products have customisation details available. Please ensure that all the details you provide are spelled and punctuated correctly. This is important because we letter each piece exactly as quoted by you, our customer. We will not be responsible for any errors that you have entered incorrectly.
We finish all our pieces to a high standard and check these thoroughly before sending them, however if we have made an error, please contact us as soon as possible so we can rectify this for you.
APPROVAL REQUIRED ITEMS
Some of our custom pieces require your approval and confirmation before starting work on your beautiful customised piece.
A mockup proof will be emailed to you so you can visualise the layout and make any small revisions. Only one round of design revisions may be made before incurring additional costs. Once you have approved the draft, we will not accept any further changes. The turnaround time stated on the product description starts once you have approved your draft.
REFUNDS / EXCHANGES
Due to the handcrafted, customised nature of our work, we do not accept any change of mind returns or exchanges.
FAULTY / DAMAGED ITEMS
Returns of faulty and/or damaged items will only be accepted if the goods arrived faulty/damaged when received by you, the customer. We go to great efforts to check your item/s thoroughly before sending orders. Please take a photograph of both the packaging and the item and send this in your email and we will work with you to find a solution. Please do not discard the item as we may need it back to make a claim with our delivery partners and insurance providers.
In order to process your order we are required to collect the information that you provide to us, such as your name, address and email address. This information is only used to process your order and deliver it to you. We will never distribute, sell or use your details for any other reason.
When you place an order by credit card we do not store any information other than what is listed above. We use third party financial services facilitated by Stripe payment providers. Your card details are used through an encrypted server so you can be assured your order is being processed safely and securely. We do not see any of your card information before, during or after this process.
When you sign up to our mailing list, you are giving your consent for us to email you the newsletters we create. While the box at checkout is ticked by default, you are more than welcome to un-tick it if you do not wish to sign up. Should you no longer wish to receive these emails you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of our emails.
All content within this website, includes but is not limited to, text, logo, graphics, images and product designs are all the property of The Paper Gazelle. Downloading, reproducing, copying or republishing is strictly prohibited. The Paper Gazelle reserves the right to photograph all customised products for social media and website purposes. You may opt out of this if you do not wish for your customised item to be featured.
We love to share images and work in progress updates of our products. We reserve the right to use our images across our social media platforms and website.
All product images you see on this website are either taken by The Paper Gazelle or acquired with consent from our photographers. All images used from this website and any associated social media accounts must be credited appropriately.
All prices stated on the website are in New Zealand dollars and do not include shipping. The Paper Gazelle is GST registered, #077-764-917. Our prices do not include duties, fees or import taxes that may be applicable for orders shipped out of New Zealand.
The Paper Gazelle reserves the right to change the price of goods and modify our terms and conditions at any time without notice.
